Bradley be nimble, Bradley be quick, Bradley rock social media
I haven’t been at M2O (that’s em-too-oh, not em-too-zero) long, but one thing I know is that we’ve got some great things going on.
When I looked at the Techvibes post of the 10 Canadian New Media Companies to watch, well my first thought was, watch out, M2O is coming…
1. Canadian companies are targeting early adopters who recognize the value of new media but also feel the side effects, such as managing them efficiently. These customers want simple and cost-effective ways to launch, manage, and measure their new media initiatives.
2. Mainstream organizations still have a lot of questions around new media, such as “Which tools are the best fit for us?” They also have concerns around security, implementation costs, return on investment, and maintaining control of their brand. Customers will be looking for guidance and services to help them work through these issues.
3. While differentiation and visibility will be key to success, so too will be positioning new media solutions as “must haves” in a difficult economy that can both reduce costs and increase revenue opportunities.[From 10 Canadian New Media Companies to Watch - Techvibes Blog]
Beyond the clear and obvious bragging, the three key points at the end of the article are essential to anyone in the New Media biz and point 2 in particular.
We think that our stuff is “mainstream”, but really it’s just more like “awarestream” (yes I just made that up). People have heard about social media, they’d heard about Twitter (maybe) but they know how to apply it to their business, much less how to actually go about kicking a project off.
That’s where we come in.
So watch out 2009, M2O is revving up. Well after a kicking some butt in the Gastown Snowball FIght.
